Mark Enlow – Tamayo Family Vineyards

Food & wine writer Kathleen Lisson chats with Mark Enlow, manager of the famed Tamayo Family Vineyards in Brentwood, California, on his knowledge of the vines at a recent California Wine And Food Alliance sponsored wine celebration. Manager Mark Enlow is involved in the winemaking process literally from grape to glass.

In addition to producing “2009 World Wine Championships Gold Winner” CANA from their Contra Costa County estate, Tamayo offers a range of other varietal selections from the best appellations in California, all reflecting their unique origins. These classic varietal wines grown in Napa, Sonoma and Monterey counties─found under the Tamayo Family Vineyards label─include the Tamayo 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, the Syrah 2006 Contra Costa County, the Pinot Noir 2006 Santa Lucia Highlands, and the Tamayo Red 2008.
